Bloomsburg Falls to West Chester in Men's Soccer

BLOOMSBURG - The Bloomsburg University men's soccer team fell 2-1 to West Chester in a Saturday afternoon Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) match up at Sports Stadium.

Bloomsburg's defender, Mike Jones (Paoli/Great Valley), scored in the first half to give the Huskies a 1-0 lead. The Huskies out shot the Rams, 8-4.

Half way through the second half, West Chester's Mike Pryor scored off an assist from Bill Harns to tie up the game. The Ram's took the lead at the 76:20 mark when Ricky Mucelli scored.

For West Chester (13-4, 11-3 PSAC), Garrett Santoro saved five shots for the game, while Bloomsburg's Jon Keller (Clarks Summit/Abington Heights) saved a total of seven shots.

Bloomsburg (2-13-1, 2-11-1 PSAC) will travel to Millersville University on Tuesday for a 6:00 p.m. game.
